Molasses Bran Loaf

2 1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 c. wheat germ
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 c. raisins
2 t. baking soda
1 3/4 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. molasses
Heat oven to 325.  Grease 9x5x3 pan.  combine flour, wheat germ, brown sugar, salt and raisins in large bowl.  Mix soda, buttermilk and molasses together.  When mix begins to bubble, stir into dry ingredients.  Spoon batter into prepared pan.  Bake 1 hour or until bread is light brown.
