11 egg whites Pinch salt
1 t. cream of tartar 1 c. cake flour–3 T.
1 1/2 c. sugar 3 T. cocoa
1 t. vanilla 1/3 nuts
Put salt in egg whites and beat til frothy. Add cream of tartar and beat till stiff. Add 1 c. sugar. Sift together flour, 1/2 c. sugar and cocoa. Add. Then add 1 t. vanilla and 1/3 c. nuts.
