In a large mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar.<br \/>\n2. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well.<br \/>\n3. Add milk and beat again.<br \/>\n4. Add flour, baking powder and salt.<br \/>\n5. Chill dough for about 30 minutes.<br \/>\n6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees<br \/>\n7. Roll dough about \u00bc inch thick onto a lightly floured surface. Cut out cookies.<br \/>\n8. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes.<br \/>\n9. Frost cookies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions for frosting<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n1. Cream butter in a large mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and heavy<br \/>\nwhipping cream (or milk) and beat until smooth and creamy.
