Rice Krispie or Special K&#8217;s<br \/>\n1 c. walnuts<br \/>\n1 t. vanilla<br \/>\nToast 10-15 minutes at 350 oven&#8211;Stir often<br \/>\nRemove from oven and add 3\/4 c. brown sugar&#8211;Mix well and cool.  Remove 1\/2 of mixture for top.  Spread the remaining mixture evenly on the bottom of pan.  Slice ice cream and lay evenly on top.  Cove with remaining crumbs. Freeze until firm&#8211;Cut in squares;  Serves 12.<br \/>\n1 lb Hydrox Cookies<br \/>\n1\/2 c. butter melted&#8211;mix put in 2 9&#215;13 pans, freeze till hard; 1\/2 gal. ice cream&#8211;mint choc. chip.
