I just tasted them 1\/2 way baked and<br \/>\nlove them!<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nOven Roasted Green Beans &#8211; Recipe updated March 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pre-heat your oven to 450\u00b0F<\/p>\n<p>1 pound green beans, stem ends snapped off<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon olive oil<\/p>\n<p>Table salt and ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>Adjust the oven rack to the middle position. Line baking sheet with<br \/>\naluminum foil. Spread beans on baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and use<br \/>\nhands to toss green beans to coat the evenly with the oil. Sprinkle<br \/>\nwith 1\/2 teaspoon salt, toss to coat. Distribute in one even layer.<br \/>\nRoast 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove baking sheet and redistributed beans. Put back in oven and<br \/>\ncontinue baking 10-12 minutes until the beans are dark golden brown in<br \/>\nspots and have started to shrivel.<\/p>\n<p>Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Per Cooks Illustrated: Wrinkles aren&#8217;t always a sign of overzealous<br \/>\ncooking. For roasted green beans shriveled exteriors indicate a<br \/>\nsuccessful transformation from bland and stringy to tender and<br \/>\nflavorful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another roasted veggie recipe!
