I loved it how I did it<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thai-Style Tofu<br \/>\nThe Marinade:<br \/>\n2 tblspns tamari or soy sauce<br \/>\n1 tblspn sesame oil<br \/>\n1 tblspn canola oil<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp minced gingerroot<br \/>\n1 clove minced garlic<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp crushed red pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 lb xtra firm tofu patted very dry and cut into cubes (I marinated the tofu alone. If \u00a0I do it again, I will marinate the tofu and the mushrooms or bell peppers.<br \/>\n1 bell pepper cut into strips or 1 lb sliced mushrooms<\/p>\n<p>The Sauce:<br \/>\n1 tblspn natural style peanut butter<br \/>\n2 tblspns lime juice<br \/>\n1 sliced green onion<br \/>\n2 tsp finely chopped fresh basil OR 1\/4 tsp dried basil<br \/>\n2 tsp finely chopped fresh mint OR 1\/2 tsp dried mint<\/p>\n<p>First, start baking yams at 400 degrees for aprox an hour. And start the brown rice cooking. Marinate the tofu cubes for 1\/2 hour or up to 8 hours in fridge. Bake in a shallow baking dish so tofu rests in one layer in the bottom of pan at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove and toss the tofu gently with the sauce and return to to oven to bake for another 15 minutes. For crispy texture, bake longer.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: large;\">I didn&#8217;t make brown rice. I baked a sweet yam and at it (very good one) along side the tofu mixture.
