{"id":824,"date":"2012-06-19T16:04:41","date_gmt":"2012-06-19T21:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wesselbest.com\/?p=824"},"modified":"2012-06-26T08:59:43","modified_gmt":"2012-06-26T13:59:43","slug":"lemon-poppy-seed-cheese-cake-joanne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wesselbest.com\/?p=824","title":{"rendered":"LEMON POPPY SEED CHEESE CAKE &#8211; JOANNE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">INGREDIENTS<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nilla wafers: 1 \u00bc cups<br \/>\nFlour: 2-3 Tbsp<br \/>\nSugar: \u00be cup<br \/>\nMilk: 2 Tbsp<br \/>\nSugar: 1 Tbsp<br \/>\nSour Cream: 1 cup<br \/>\nButter: 3 Tbsp<br \/>\nEggs: 4 &#8211; 5<br \/>\nCream Cheese: 4 &#8211; 8 oz packages<br \/>\nLemon Pie Filling &#8211; Instant: 2 -3<br \/>\nPoppy Seeds: 2, 3 or 4 Tbsp<br \/>\nLemon juice: 1 fresh lemon<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff6600;\"><strong>PIE CRUST<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>1.<\/strong> Pre-heat oven to 325 F<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Mix:<br \/>\n1\u00bc cups Nilla Wafers crushed<br \/>\n1 Tbsp Sugar<br \/>\n3 Tbsp Butter<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Press in bottom of 9&#8243; Spring form pan and bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> After baking the \u00a0shell, put a pan of water in the oven on the shelf under where the cheesecake will be or on the bottom of the oven.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff6600;\"><strong>FILLING<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>1.<\/strong> Beat on medium speed until just mixed. Don&#8217;t over beat:<br \/>\n4 &#8211; 8 Ounce packages of Cream Cheese, softened<br \/>\n3\/4 cup &#8211; sugar<br \/>\n2 or 3 Tbsp &#8211; flour<br \/>\n2 Tbsp &#8211; milk<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Add and mix gently:<br \/>\n1 cup &#8211; sour cream<br \/>\nAdd 4 or 5 eggs (depending on size) 1 at a time on low speed.<br \/>\nStir in 2 or 3 packages instant lemon pie filling<\/p>\n<p>Add stirring gently:<br \/>\n2 , 3 or 4 Tbsp poppy seeds (I really don&#8217;t know how much)<br \/>\nJuice from one fresh lemon<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff6600;\"><strong>FINAL<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nBake for 65 minutes to 75 minutes or until center is almost set.<br \/>\n<strong>Do not check doneness with a knife<\/strong>.
