Hot Rolls — Katie Hakes
Scald –Cool
1 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar 3/4 t. salt
Dissolve 1 pkg. yeast in a small amount. Then add rest of milk mixture.
Add 2 beaten eggs, 4 c. flour.
Mix well. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Roll on well floured board to 1/4″. Cut in 12 pie shape wedges. Brush with melted shortening. Roll from large end. Brush top with shortening. Let rise to double. Bake 15 minutes @ 400.
