Mix 1/4 c. flour 1 c. sugar
Add 3/4 c. cherry jc.
Cook until thick–add drained cherries 1 1/2 pts.
Sift–1 1/2 c. flour–1 t. salt–1/2 t. soda
Blend in 1 c. quick oatmeal
Cut in 1/4 lb. butter
Press half this mixture in an ungreased pan. Spread cherry mixture over this then the rest of mixture over top. Bake at 350–50 minutes. Use good size oblong pan and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
