Smoked ham broth (or other meat broth)
1/4 cup milk.
2 cups fine-grated raw potatoes
1 tsp. salt.
`   Bisquick
Mix potatoes, milk and salt.  Add enough Bisquick (yes, Bisquick!)
so it can be spooned out as for dumplings.  Spoon egg-sized pieces of
dough into the boiling broth, one at a time.  Be sure the broth keeps
boiling.  Cook over low heat 10 minutes uncovered;  then 10 minutes
covered.  Serve with melted butter.  They are as light as baking powder
biscuits.  No indigestion if you don’t eat too many.
