SCOTCH – A – ROOS — Beth
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup light karo corn syrup
Heat all together to dissolve all ingredients. Remove from heat. Stir in 7 cups of rice krispies, corn flakes, or other unsweetened cereal (cheerios doesn’t work—ick!).
Press into a cake pan or high-sided cookie sheet.
Melt 1 bag of butterscotch chips and 1 t. butter to liquefy. Spread over cereal mixture in an even layer. Wait until it cools and hardens.
Melt 1 bag of chocolate chips and spread over butterscotch layer. Let cool and harden. Cut into squares.
