3 med onions 1 pkg.(10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 c. grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise 2 t. lemon jc.
1 T. butter 2 T. flour
1/4 t. salt 2/3 c. milk
1 pkg. (3 oz) cream cheese (or white sauce)
Peel and half onions. Parboil in salted water 10-12 min. Drain. Remove center, leaving 3/4″ edges. chop center potions to equal 1 c.
Cook broccoli–drain–combine chopped onion, broccoli, parmesan cheese, mayonnaise and lemon jc. Spoon into center of onion halves. Melt better, blend in flour/salt. Add milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and blend in cream cheese. Spoon sauce over onion halves and bake, uncovered, at 375 for 20 min.
