5 eggs
2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flour
3/4 t. salt
4 T. melted butter
3-4 T. butter for baking
1.  Beat eggs until light and fluffly.  Add milk and beat until will mixed.  Sift together flour and slat.  Add to first mixture and beat until smooth.  Beat in 4 T. melted butter.
2.  Batter makes three 10 in. pancakes or four nine inch pancakes.  For each pancake, melt 1 T. butter in 9 or 10 inch griddle or frying pan.  Pour in 1/3 or 1/4 of the batter.  Fry until golden brown on one side, loosen thoroughly underneath, turn and brown on the second side.  Continue until all pancakes are made.
3.  These pancakes may be served with *mayple syrup, a fruit sauce or butter and sugar, or they may be rolled and sprinkled with confectionors sugar.
