1 qt cubed, cooked chicken (3 1/4-3 /12 lb. chicken)
Gravy:
1 qt. broth, free from fat
2/3 c. flour dissolved in 1/2c.t. water to make paste.
2 T chicken fat.
Dressing:
1 1/2 qt. dry bread cubes dash pepper
(7 1/2 oz pkg. stuffing bread) 3/4 t. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 t. sage
1/4 c. chicken broth
2 T. diced onion
If you use seasoned cubes, use less sage.
Layer chicken in 9×13 pan. Add dressing and cover with gravy. Bake at 375 – 35 min. or until brown.
