Glop – Texas Tom
This is for a double serving
2 TBS ground flaxseed
2 TBS ground sesame seed (with hull)
2 TBS virgin coconut oil
2/3 to 1 cup whole grain rolled oats (10 minute type) salt
2/3 to 1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup walnuts halves
Cinnamon
Cook oatmeal according to directions on package (oatmeal to water ratio)
with salt. After about five minutes, add the ground flaxseed, ground sesame
seed and coconut oil to the oatmeal and let cook for the balance of the 10
minutes. Put the blueberries, walnuts and cinnamon in a good size bowl.
Add cooked oatmeal mix to bowl. Stir. Stirring is actually the secret to
GLOP. The more you stir it and the longer you let it sit while eating
accompanying food – eggs, sausage, greens and veggies — the better the
GLOP!! And by the way, if I was to make it today, I would add a good amount
of butter.
