Serves 8 at 350
1 1/2 lb gr. beef
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. green pepper
1 can mushroom soup
2 T. chopped onion
1 t. salt
1 can tomato soup
1 c. uncooked macaroni
Brown ground beef. Drain the fat. Add the chopped onion and green peppers. Cook together. Cook the macaroni. Drain and rinse. Mix the soups and grated cheese into the macaroni. Place in alternate layers with the meat mixture in a buttered casserole. Bake 30 minutes. Mushrooms and/or chopped ripe olives may be added for a luxury treat.
