Cream:
___Stick(s) oleo
2 1/2 c. white sugar
Add 2 t. vanilla pinch salt
Beat 3 eggs 2 1/2 c. buttermilk with 2 1/2 t. soda added. Mix well. Add 8 cups sifted flour with 4 t. Baking powder. Mix all well and cover and cool in refrig. over night.
Bake at 400 degrees or less. Watch carefully so don’t get too brown. Buttermilk should be about a week old as it does better.
