1 c. shortening (
1/2 butter
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 pkg. choc. chips
1/4 t. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolk. Mix in salt, vanilla, and flour. Spread thin on greased cookie pan. Bake at 350 about 15 minutes, or til browned. Melt choc. chips and spread on warm cookies. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut when cool.
