1/6 oz. pkg choc chips
2 T. oleo
1 1/4 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. rice Krispie
1/2 c. sugar
Melt choc. chips and 2 T. oleo til smooth. Spread 1/2 on bottom 8×8 pan. chill. Combine other oleo, sugar, dates in heavy saucepan and cook over mod. heat, stir constantly until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts.
Cool to lukewarm, spoon carefully over chilled choc. layer.
Frost with remaining 1/2 of melted choc.
