1 c. butter
1 t. baking pwd.
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 t. vanilla blanched almonds
Brown butter lightly and pour into bowl. Add sugar and stir until fluffy. Add vanilla, then flour and baking pwd. Roll into small balls. Place on cookie sheet with half an almond. Bake at 275 about 30 minutes (till golden brown)
