1 c. margarine
1 6-ox pkg (1 c.) choc. chips
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 t. salt
1 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
Preheat oven to 375. Combine margarine, vanilla, and salt in bowl, and blend well. Gradually beat in sugar. Add flour, choc. chips and 3/4 c. walnuts; mix well. Press evenly into ungreased 15″x10″x1″ pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 c. walnuts over top and press in lightly. Bake at 371 F. Time: 25 min or till golden brown. Cool then break in irregular pieces.
