Bake at 375
Sift together: 3 c. flour, 1/2 t. salt, 1/2 t. soda and 1 1/2 t. cinnamon.
Combine: 1 c. butter (melted), 1 c. firmly packed br. sugar, 1 well beaten egg, Mix thoroughly.
Blend in: dry ingredients, and 1/2 c. nuts chopped very finely.
Press: into refrig. tray. Chill 1/2 hr. in freezer or overnight in refrigerator.
Cut: into 1/4″ slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost. Place cookies side by side on waxed paper and pour frosting back and forth over cookies.
Frosting
In small pitcher, combine 2 T. melted butter, 1 c. sifter pwd. sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla. add 2-3 t. warm milk until pouring consistency.
