6 pork chops–or pork steak 3 T. flour and 1 t. salt
combined
3 T. fat Dip chops in seasoned flour and brown in fat in Dutch oven–Remove chops and add:
3/4 c. water 3 T. parsley flakes
dash of cloves dash of pepper
1 bay leaf
Heat to boiling and add following
6 carrots halved 6 potatoes halved
Place chops on top of veg. and slice one small onion over them.
Bake covered for one hour–350 f
minced onions
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1 t. salt
scant 1/8 t. pepper 1 t. Worcestershire
Sauce for top:
1/2 c. mayonnaise
