3 T. Corn Starch
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
2 c. milk
1 t. vanilla
Combine corn starch , sugar, and salt. Gradually add mild. Heat to boiling over direct heat and then boil gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Pour into molds which have been rinsed in cold water. Chill until firm. Makes 2 cups or 4 individual molds.
To make chocolate pudding, add 1 1/2 squares (1 1/2 oz) shaved, unsweetened chocolate when milk is added to corn starch mixture. Then cook as directed.
