It’s beautiful and it’s a snap to prepare:
1 pkg. Lime Jello 2 c. hot water 1 1/2 bananas, diced
1 pkg. Lemon jello 2 c. cold water 1/2 c. diced apples- *unpeeled
1 t. salt 4 t. lemon jc. 1/3 c. diced celery.
Dissolve jello and salad in hot water. Add cold water and lemon jc. Chill until slightly thickened. Then fold in celery, bananas and apples. Pour into 8 individual molds or a 1 1/2 qt. mold. chill until firm. Unmold on crisp greens. Serve with mayonnaise, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
