Sauté:
1/2 cup of butter,
2 teaspoons sugar,
1/2 cup of sesame seeds,
2 3 oz. pkgs. Raimen noodles (uncooked) broken up (don’t use seasoning
packets)
1 3 oz. pkg. sliced almonds
Other ingredients:
1 large head of Boc choy or two small ones
4 green onions with tops
Dressing: 3/4 cup veg oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar,
2 tablespoons soy sauce
In large skillet melt butter. Add sugar, seeds, noodles & almonds. Cook until light brown approx. 5 min. Cool to room temperature.
Chop boc choy in 1″ pieces using stems & leaves. Add onions cut up. Cool in refrigerator. Mix dressing in jar & shake well until sugar is dissolved.
Just before serving toss greens, noodles mixture and dressing. Noodles will get soggy if it sits too long.
