Soften and set aside:
1 envelope Knox gelatin 1/4 c. cold water
Heat till dissolved:
1/2 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar
Add all to softened gelatin:
1/4 t. pepper 1 t. salt
1 t. celery seed 1 c. salad oil (Beat in when cool)

8 c. chopped cabbage 2 c. shredded carrots
1 gr. pepper chopped 1 small onion–grated
Pour dsg. over cabbage mix and mix well. Cover and refrigerate.
